Scott Akin, M.D.

Dr. Scott Akin is a board-certified neuroradiologist who joined ROI in 2024. He obtained his B.S.. in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL. He received his M.D. from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, Birmingham, AL.

Dr. Akin completed his internship in internal medicine, surgery, and radiology at Baptist Medical Centers, Birmingham, AL. He finished his diagnostic and interventional radiology residency at Baptist Medical Centers, Birmingham, AL.

Dr. Akin is an active member of the American College of Radiology and the American Roentgen Ray Society.
