3D Mammography is Now Available!

Here at Radiology of Indiana, we have two locations, Carmel and Saxony that provide 3D mammography. This new exam looks and feels like a regular mammogram, and only takes a few seconds longer. The exam takes 3D images, allowing doctors to search through the tissue in one-millimeter layers, reducing the chance of a tumor hiding in the shadow of tissue in the breast.
