Gitasree Borthakur, M.D.

Dr. Gita Borthakur joined ROI in July 2018. She received her B.S. in Biology with a Summa Cum Laude honor in 2008 from Youngstown State University in Ohio and obtained her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in 2012. In 2013, she had a transitional year internship at the University of Hawaii, Honolulu.

She completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology in 2017 from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. She trained with Dr. David Stoller, completing a Musculoskeletal MRI Fellowship in 2018 at RadNet in San Francisco, CA.

Dr. Borthakur is certified by the American Board of Radiology. She is an active member of American College of Radiology, the Indiana Radiological Society: Indiana Chapter of the American College of Radiology, American Association for Women Radiologists and Radiology Society of North America.
