Serra Aktan, M.D.

Dr. Serra Aktan is a board certified Neuroradiologist who joined ROI in 2023.
She obtained a B.S.E. in biomedical engineering from Duke University in Durham, NC and a M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. She also obtained her medical
degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Dr. Aktan spent her transitional year with an internal medicine internship at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL.
She completed her diagnostic radiology residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. She completed her neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in Madison, WI.
